GPStimate is the brainchild of Kenn Furr, a commercial roofing estimator with more than 15 years of industry experience. Kenn is the kind of estimator who can glance at a roof plan, ballpark the cost, and come remarkably close. His expertise comes not only from completing hundreds of estimates, but also from years of mastering the industry's best software to achieve accuracy. Along the way, he has helped multiple roofing companies reach levels of profitability they had never before experienced.

But even great estimators face frustration.

Throughout his career, Kenn noticed that roofing software lagged behind other industries. The most powerful estimating platforms were often overly complex, requiring steep learning curves and suffering from low adoption. Meanwhile, newer, simpler solutions sacrificed the functionality professionals actually needed. Kenn believed the industry deserved better.
